Q. Are permits required?
A. No permits are not required in most locations. Check with your city to see if any are required.



Q. How much time does it take to operate the Hydro Dock?
A. It takes approximately 6 to 9 minutes to lift or lower the Hydro Dock.



Q. Do you place these lifts in ocean salt water?
A. Yes. The pontoons are made from marine fiberglass and all metal items are made from marine grade aluminum.



Q. How does the Hydro Dock work in tidal waters?
A. They Hydro Dock is free floating and, therefore, automatically adjusts to tidal changes in water depth.



Q. Does any part of the boat touch the water when the boat is on the lift?
A. All parts of the boat are at least 14" to 16" off the water.



Q. Can I put different size boat on the same lift?
A. You can put any boat on a lift if the gross weight of the boat does not exceed the design load of the lift. FOr example, the same lift could be used for either a 23' Formula or a 30' Scarab.



Q. Does the HydroDock boat lift have any resale value if I wish to sell it?
A. Yes, you can sell the lift. The buyer can tow the unit to a new location.
